SHB’s representative, Ms. Dang To Loan – Deputy General Director received the award “Bank with High-tech Investment for Clean Agriculture 2018”.
Not only aiming at searching and honouring, the award is also a recognition for banks that have made outstanding achievements and contributed to the sustainable development of the banking – financial sector in particular and the economy in general. In sustaining a stable socio-economic development for the country, for many years, SHB has always focused and took huge consideration to developing and granting preferential loans for high-tech agriculture. The Bank has made long-term investments for nearly 30 high agricultural projects of farmer households, cooperative groups, enterprises, start-up groups, etc. with a total investment amount up to trillions of VND.
In particular, SHB is highly appreciated by the Evaluation Council for its proactively working with the People’s Committees and Departments of Agriculture at provinces to access and finance local projects with lower lending rates of 0.5 – 1.5% than that of the preferential interest rate for loans in the agricultural and rural sector as prescribed. At the same time, the Bank continuously improved the lending process, simplified procedures, intensified close coordination with local authorities in solving difficulties and obstacles to local citizens and enterprises.
CEO of SHB – Mr. Nguyen Van Le said that the Bank’s credit orientation in the coming time will continue to focus on green credit, priority development areas under the guidelines of the Government and the State Bank, including high-tech agriculture. “SHB is committed to implementing synchronous programs and products with many incentives, willing to accompany enterprises and peasants, contributing to the sustainable and environmentally friendly agricultural development.” – CEO Nguyen Van Le affirmed.
