On December 19, 2017 in Ho Chi Minh City, Mr. Do Quang Hien – Chairman of Saigon-Hanoi Bank (SHB) was honored to be the only businessman in finance and banking sector to receive Asia Pacific Entrepreneurship Award (APEA) presented by Enterprise Asia – a leading non-governmental organization in Asia. This is the first time this Asia’s prestigious award is held in Vietnam by Enterprise Asia.

First launched in 2007, the Asia Pacific Entrepreneurship Award, known as APEA, has been a prestigious award aiming to band leading entrepreneurs across the region to spur greater innovation, fair practices and growth in entrepreneurship.

APEA aims to recognize outstanding performance and tenacity  in developing successful businesses. Entrepreneur candidates are selected based on strict criteria and highly competitive parameters, including: financially verified by an independent auditing firm; interviewed at the candidate’s office; evaluated and voted by the Council of Enterprise Asia.
