Online Savings was introduced by SHB to individual customers since 2014. The product has many outstanding features and preferential interest rates, allowing customers to deposit their savings anytime, anywhere via SHB’s Internet Banking and/or Mobile Banking. The product have received support of many customers and achieved rapid growth over the past time. SHB would like to thank you for trusting and choosing SHB’s products and services and would like to inform you of changes to Online Savings as follows:
From July 5, 2019, SHB temporarily stops providing the Online Savings product via SHB’s Internet Banking and Mobile Banking for foreign individual customers. However, foreign individual customers can participate in term deposit transactions at SHB’s branches and transaction offices nationwide.
For Online Savings Deposit accounts of foreign individual customers which were opened before July 5, 2019, SHB will fulfill commitments agreed with customers until maturity. At maturity date, SHB will close the Online Savings Deposit account and transfer all principals and interests an appropriate account of the Bank for management.
