Ms. Ngo Thu Ha, Chief Executive Officer of SHB, has been honored by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) with the 2025 title of “Outstanding Vietnamese Woman Entrepreneur – Golden Rose,” a prestigious award recognizing female leaders with exceptional business achievements and significant contributions to the country’s economic and social development.

On 22 October, VCCI held the 2025 Golden Rose Award Ceremony in Hanoi. This is a national-level award organized by VCCI in accordance with the 2022 Law on Emulation and Commendation, and is conferred once every five years. The award aims to recognize outstanding women entrepreneurs who have demonstrated excellence in production and business activities while making meaningful contributions to Vietnam’s socio-economic development.

Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh and VCCI Chairman Pham Tan Cong presented the Golden Rose title to Ms. Ngo Thu Ha, Chief Executive Officer of SHB.

Ms. Ngo Thu Ha, CEO of Saigon–Hanoi Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SHB), was among the distinguished women entrepreneurs honored at this year’s award ceremony.

Born in 1973, Ms. Ngo Thu Ha holds a PhD in Economics and is a member of CPA Australia, with 31 years of experience in the finance and banking sector. She joined SHB in 2008 and was appointed Chief Executive Officer in September 2022.

Throughout her tenure at SHB, Ms. Ngo Thu Ha has held numerous key positions across the Bank’s business operations, playing an important role in SHB’s strong growth and its emergence as a leading financial institution in Vietnam with regional and international reach. SHB currently ranks among the Top 5 largest private commercial joint-stock banks in Vietnam by charter capital, the Top 10 most reputable private commercial joint-stock banks in Vietnam (according to Vietnam Report), and the Top 200 largest companies in Southeast Asia as recognized by Fortune magazine (USA).

On a personal level, Ms. Ngo Thu Ha has received numerous certificates of merit and awards from domestic and international organizations in recognition of her contributions to leadership, governance, innovation, and corporate development aligned with social responsibility. Among these is the “Outstanding Asian Entrepreneur 2024” award presented by Enterprise Asia.
