On May 25, 2021, at the headquarter of the Ministry of Health (Hanoi), Saigon – Hanoi Bank donated VND 15 billion as a fund to procure vaccine against Covid-19. Since the outbreak of the disease, SHB has donated nearly VND 30 billion to support the country in the fight against Covid-19.

Accompanying the Government and people, with the hope to soon have a vaccine for Covid-19, SHB has donated VND 15 billion and is one of the pioneering joint stock commercial banks to support the vaccine fund of the Ministry of Health. Previously, in 2020, SHB donated more than VND 42 billion for Covid-19 prevention and social security activities across the country.

SHB Chairman Do Quang Hien said: “Besides business development, SHB always pays attention to social security activities, especially the prevention of Covid-19. With its practical actions and contributions, SHB believes that Vietnam will have abundant resources to prevent, control and gradually repel the epidemic”

Also at the ceremony, T&T Group donated 1 million doses of Covid-19 vaccine. Minister of Health Nguyen Thanh Long appreciated and thanked SHB and T&T Group for repeatedly supporting the fund for fighting against the epidemic. The companionship of all social resources is the motivation and foundation for Vietnam to soon erase the pandemic, contributing to spreading good values.
