Recently, Saigon – Hanoi Bank (SHB) has successfully provided consultancy service in the investment deal worth $39 million USD between BaF Vietnam Agriculture Joint Stock Company (BaF) and the International Finance Corporation ( IFC) .

As the advisory party, SHB has assisted  BaF with several key aspects  in the capital raising process such as: creating corporate profile; formulating  financial plan and investment deal structure; making a list of target  investors aligning with BaF’s business orientation; supporting due diligence, negotiation process, contract signing and disbursement process.

Thanks to this foreign funding, BaF shall be capable of promoting a fully-fledged system of factory farms, feed factories, slaughterhouses and meat processing plants in compliance with international standards. Timely investment and support from IFC will help BaF strengthen its foundation, improve its position in the Vietnamese market, increase hygiene meat volume, and deliver safe meats to consumers.
