Beating nearly 700 enterprises being listed on the stock market, Annual Report for fiscal year 2014 of Saigon – Hanoi Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SHB) has honorably been selected in Top 30 Best Annual Reports 2015. This is the fifth year SHB has been presented with this reputable award. SHB representative, Mrs Đặng Tố Loan – Deputy General Director attended the award ceremony and received the award.

Best Annual Report (AR) is an annual award organized by Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange, Hanoi Stock Exchange and Stock Investment Review since 2007 with the aim of honoring enterprises having ARs compliant with standards of information disclosure specified by Ministry of Finance, providing investors, shareholders with accurate, sufficient, transparent information regarding business, governance, financial operations, risk analysis, forecast, outlook of the enterprise as well as showing professionalism in AR preparation. Based on specific assessment and scoring, the Panel selected 50 best ARs out of 121 ARs in the final round to name Top 10, Top 30 and Top 50.

As evaluated by the Organizing Committee, AR contents being the most concern from investors, shareholders have been well prepared in both content and format. In general, SHB AR focuses on sustainable development, contents relating to business activities have been analyzed thoroughly and their reasons and solutions have been proposed. This helps investors, shareholders and customers better understand the Bank’s governance capability and transparency in operations. This fifth year award has affirmed SHB’s commitment in information transparency increasing confidence of shareholders, customers and investors.

In the first 6 months of the year, SHB has been honored with various reputable national and international awards such as: Best Trade Finance Bank 2015, Best Internet Banking 2015, Best SME Bank, Best Customer Service Bank, Outstanding Foreign Bank in Cambodia 2015, etc. Previously, SHB was presented Certificate of Merit for great contribution to stock market development (period 2009 – 2014) by the State Securities Commission and named one of 30 transparent enterprises in the stock market by HNX. Encouraged by the aforesaid achievements, SHB has been promoting its advantages of one of leading banks in Vietnam to fulfill targets in the last two quarters of the fiscal year 2015.
