Being highly recognized for its international settlement quality which reaches Straight-Through Processing (STP) standard applied for correspondent banks, on October 02 2017, Saigon Bank – Hanoi was honored with STP Award 2016 by the Bank of New York (BNY Mellon). This is the seventh consecutive year BNY Mellon presented this award to SHB.
BNY Mellon is the 10th largest bank in the US and ranks 73rd in the world with total assets of USD 333 billion. Therefore, BNY Mellon is very strict when choosing partners with many criteria applied in accordance with international standards. Every year, BNY Mellon evaluates and presents international settlement awards to its correspondent banks whose STP rate reaches 95% or higher.
Ms. Ngo Thu Ha – SHB’s Deputy General Director received the award from Mr. Arnon Goldstein – Managing Director, Head of APAC Sales & Relationship Management of BNY Mellon.
Receiving BNY Mellon’s award for the 7th consecutive year, SHB once again affirms its international settlement quality which meets international payment requirements, reduces the reconciliation time and costs, thereby enabling accurate and fast international settlement transactions.
