Travel insurance for SHB Visa Platinum international credit card holders

Effective from now until September 30, 2023

Travel insurance coverage:

• Trip Cancellation: Reimbursement of prepaid travel and/or accommodation expenses up to USD 1,000/person in the event of unexpected cancellation before the Departure Date.
• Trip Curtailment: reimbursement for deposit up to USD 1,000 per person in the event that the trip ends before the Return Date.
• Flight Delay : Payment of flight delay benefits, if your trip is delayed by at least four (4) hours due to pre-specified reasons. And reimburse any food and accomodation expenses incurred as a result of such delay if not already provided to you by the Carrier or others.
• Flight misconnection: Maximum reimbursement of 100 USD/person due to late arrival or previous flight cancellation. And reimburse reasonable travel, accommodation and food expenses so you can continue your pre-booked trip.

Round trips no more than one hundred eighty (180) days shall be covered from the departure date to the return date as shown on the ticket purchased by Eligible Cards. One-way trips shall be covered within seven (7) days from the departure date. This includes pre-paid and pre-planned domestic travel, just 100 km from your City of Residence.
