The poll for listed companies in 2021 is organized by Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HOSE) and Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX) in collaboration with Investment Newspaper. 2021 is the 14th year of the poll accompanying the Vietnamese stock market and the listed business community. The evaluation standards of the 2021 Listed Enterprises Poll continue to be maintained on the basis of standards, transparency, professionalism and creativity in consideration of the manner in which enterprises disclose information and implement governance policies; in addition, the enterprise’s criteria on environmental impact are also added – total greenhouse gas emissions; measures and solutions to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The results were then reviewed by 4 leading auditing firms (Big 4), namely Deloitte, Ernst & Young, KPMG and PwC to ensure accuracy.

Outstandingly surpassing more than 500 enterprises, present in the Top 10 large-cap enterprises with best annual reports in 2021, SHB constantly affirms its reputation and focus on information transparency, comprehensive development. Expressing the theme “Serving from the Heart – Aspiration to Lead “, SHB’s annual report is highly appreciated for building processes, products, technology and continuously innovating when placing customers as the center of development. In addition, SHB is increasingly promoting specific strategies and actions in digital transformation and banking modernization. This is an important vision to promote the dynamic, comprehensive and sustainable development of the bank in the digital age, in order to maximize the benefits of customers.

The annual report clearly, transparently and accurately shows the business activities, growth results, governance and risks of SHB in the past year. In particular, 2021 continues to be a breakthrough year for the bank, recognizing impressive and comprehensive business results. As of September 30, 2021, SHB has total assets of VND 464 trillion. The current charter capital is more than VND 19,260 billion. Equity capital reaches VND 43.3 trillion. SHB has grown strongly with more than 530 domestic and foreign transaction points, serving more than 5 million individual and corporate customers and connecting to 400 correspondent banks across continents.
